Women's Waxing
Women’s waxing treatments are a semi-permanent removal of unwanted hair. Hair regrowth is slower and finer with no coarse stubble.
For sensitive areas, particularly for the face, underarm and bikini area, we use Lycon Hot Wax for its gentleness and soothing properties.
Lycon Hot Wax can remove hair as short as 1mm. In all other areas, we use Hive Wax with Confidence designed for sensitive skin to ensure you have the best possible waxing experience.
Strip Waxing
We use the Australian Body-care tea tree wax tubes which help
eliminate ingrown hairs. A new dispenser is used for each client for a hygienic wax, stopping any cross-contamination or infection.
A soothing Paraben free tea tree after wax lotion is applied to nourish the skin and act as an anti-inflammatory.
Brazilian Waxing
Like a Bikini Waxing, but hair is removed from the front & back, as well as everything in between. A landing strip is left.
Hollywood Waxing
Just like the Brazilian Wax, but all hair is removed.
Hot Waxing
Sensitive wax for sensitive areas. An individual foil insert is used for each intimate wax, the spatula, wax and insert is disposed of after every client avoiding cross contamination. On smaller areas, patellas are only used once to avoid any double dipping again ensuring maximum hygiene.
Notes about Women’s waxing
Please be advised to avoid perfumed products, swimming, sun beds
and heat treatments 24 hours before and after waxing treatments.
Hair growth to be a minimum 1cm. Please ensure that hair is long enough.

The Benefits of Waxing vs. Shaving
Waxing lasts longer over time because hair is being removed from the follicle whereas shaving just cuts it at the surface.
Waxing reduces hair growth when performed at every four to five weeks. While shaving crops the hair at the skin’s surface, waxing pulls it out by the root, so it grows back softer, finer, and thinner.
A single waxing session can leave your skin hair-free from three to six weeks, but it’s not enough to stop the hairs from growing back eventually
However, repeated ripping of the hair from its follicle via waxing or plucking (which is essentially the same thing, when you think about it) will make hair grow back thicker, darker and coarser… and frequently, more plentiful and faster to re-grow.
The Truth: Similar to the thinner hair myth, waxing can reduce the volume of hair present, but it will not alter its thickness or growth rate.
Unlike shaving the hair, waxing doesn’t result in those extra-sharp tips that are more likely to curl back into your skin. In that way, waxing can reduce your chances of getting an ingrown hair.
It is possible that pubic hair removal could, through microtrauma, allow yeast that is normally on the skin to cause a vulvar yeast infection, although this hypothesis has not been studied
With Hard Wax, yes it will.
Hard wax meant to remove nose hairs can be repurposed to pull out blackheads.
Just spread it on then yank it off— kind of like a pore strip meets peel-off mask.
For some people, waxing works just fine, while others may get really bad ingrown hairs, causing painful blister-like boils that can get infected.
Many people develop folliculitis — a bumpy, pimple-like rash — after hair removal. It’s usually caused by inflammation. Inflammation typically goes away on its own without treatment.
If you have white or fluid-bumps that last more than a few days, your folliculitis may be the result of a mild infection.
Hard wax (or stripless wax) is wax that is removed without strips, adhering to the hair not the skin.
Ideal for sensitive skin or anyone looking for a more comfortable experience.
Waxing should last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your personal hair growth, the location of your wax, and the accuracy of the application.
If you’re not sure waxing is for you, there are many other forms of hair removal that will last anywhere from days to weeks and even more long-term.
The length is needed so the wax can grip the hairs. Whatever you do, do NOT shave before your appointment.
Because the hair is removed at the root, some people say waxing is more painful than shaving. The hot wax can also burn your skin if you’re not careful.
Waxing can cause inflamed hair follicles, pain, redness, ingrown hairs and skin irritation
